1 Und es schrie6817 ein259 Weib802 unter den Weibern802 der Kinder1121 der Propheten5030 zu Elisa477 und sprach559: Dein Knecht5650, mein Mann376, ist3947 gestorben4191; so weißt3045 du, daß er, dein Knecht5650, den HErrn3068 fürchtete3373; nun kommt der Schuldherr5383 und will935 meine beiden8147 Kinder3206 nehmen zu eigenen Knechten5650.

2 And Elisha477 said559 to her, What4100 shall I do6213 for you? tell5046 me, what4100 have3426 you in the house?1004 And she said,559 Your handmaid8198 has not any3605 thing in the house,1004 save3588 518 a pot610 of oil.8081

2 Elisa477 sprach559 zu ihr: Was soll ich dir tun6213? Sage mir5046, was hast3426 du im Hause1004? Sie sprach559: Deine Magd8198 hat nichts im Hause1004 denn einen Ölkrug8081.

3 Then he said,559 Go,3212 borrow7592 you vessels3627 abroad2351 of all3605 your neighbors,7934 even empty7385 vessels;3627 borrow not a few.4591

3 Er sprach559: Gehe3212 hin und bitte7592 draußen2351 von allen deinen Nachbarinnen7934 leere7386 Gefäße3627, und derselben nicht wenig4591.

4 And when you are come935 in, you shall shut5462 the door1817 on you and on your sons,1121 and shall pour3332 out into5921 all3605 those428 vessels,3627 and you shall set5265 aside5265 that which is full.4392

4 Und gehe935 hinein und schleuß die Tür1817 hinter dir zu5462 mit deinen Söhnen1121 und geuß in alle Gefäße3627; und wenn du sie5265 gefüllet hast, so gib sie hin.

5 So she went3212 from him, and shut5462 the door1817 on her and on her sons,1121 who1992 brought5066 the vessels to her; and she poured3332 out.

5 Sie1992 ging hin3212 und schloß die Tür1817 hinter ihr zu5462 samt ihren1157 Söhnen1121; die brachten ihr die Gefäße zu, so goß3332 sie5066 ein.

6 And it came1961 to pass, when the vessels3627 were full,4390 that she said559 to her son,1121 Bring5066 me yet a vessel.3627 And he said559 to her, There is not a vessel3627 more.5750 And the oil8081 stayed.5975

6 Und da die Gefäße3627 voll waren4390, sprach559 sie zu ihrem Sohn1121: Lange mir noch ein Gefäß3627 her5066! Er sprach559 zu ihr: Es ist5975 kein Gefäß3627 mehr hie. Da stund das Öl8081.

7 Then she came935 and told5046 the man376 of God.430 And he said,559 Go,3212 sell4376 the oil,8081 and pay7999 your debt,5386 and live2421 you and your children1121 of the rest.3498

7 Und sie ging hin3212 und sagte5046 es dem Mann376 Gottes430 an. Er sprach559: Gehe935 hin, verkaufe4376 das Öl8081 und bezahle7999 deinen Schuldherrn5386; du aber und deine Söhne1121 nähret2421 euch von dem übrigen3498.

8 And it fell1961 on a day,3117 that Elisha477 passed5674 to Shunem,7766 where8033 was a great1419 woman;802 and she constrained2388 him to eat398 bread.3899 And so it was, that as oft1767 as he passed5674 by, he turned5493 in thither8033 to eat398 bread.3899

8 Und es begab sich3899 zu der Zeit3117, daß Elisa477 ging5674 gen Sunem7766. Daselbst war eine reiche1419 Frau; die hielt2388 ihn, daß er3899 bei ihr802 aß398. Und als er nun oft1767 daselbst durchzog, ging5674 er zu ihr ein5493 und aß398 bei ihr.

9 And she said559 to her husband,376 Behold2009 now,4994 I perceive3045 that this1931 is an holy6918 man376 of God,430 which passes5674 by us continually.8548

9 Und sie sprach559 zu ihrem Manne376: Siehe, ich merke, daß dieser Mann376 Gottes430 heilig6918 ist3045, der immerdar8548 hie durchgehet.

10 Let us make6213 a little6996 chamber,5944 I pray4994 you, on the wall;7023 and let us set7760 for him there8033 a bed,4296 and a table,7979 and a stool,3678 and a candlestick:4501 and it shall be, when he comes935 to us, that he shall turn5493 in thither.8033

10 Laß uns ihm eine kleine6996 bretterne7023 Kammer oben5944 machen6213 und ein5493 Bett4296, Tisch7979, Stuhl3678 und Leuchter4501 hineinsetzen, auf daß, wenn er7760 zu uns kommt935, dahin sich tue.

11 And it fell1961 on a day,3117 that he came935 thither,8033 and he turned5493 into413 the chamber,5944 and lay7901 there.8033
|
11 Und es begab sich7901 zu der Zeit3117, daß er5493 hineinkam935 und legte sich oben5944 in die Kammer und schlief drinnen.

12 And he said559 to Gehazi1522 his servant,5288 Call7121 this2063 Shunammite.7767 And when he had called7121 her, she stood5975 before6440 him.
|
12 Und sprach559 zu seinem Knaben5288 Gehasi1522: Rufe der Sunamitin7767! Und da er ihr rief7121, trat5975 sie7121 vor6440 ihn.

13 And he said559 to him, Say559 now4994 to her, Behold,2009 you have been careful2729 for us with all3605 this2063 care;2731 what4100 is to be done6213 for you? would3426 you be spoken1696 for to the king,4428 or176 to the captain8269 of the host?6635 And she answered,559 I dwell3427 among8432 my own people.5971

13 Er sprach559 zu ihm: Sage1696 ihr: Siehe, du hast2729 uns all diesen Dienst2731 getan6213; was soll ich dir tun? Hast3426 du eine Sache an den König4428 oder an den Feldhauptmann8269? Sie559 sprach559: Ich wohne3427 unter8432 meinem Volk5971.

14 And he said,559 What4100 then is to be done6213 for her? And Gehazi1522 answered,559 Truly61 she has no369 child,1121 and her husband376 is old.2204

14 Er sprach559: Was ist ihr denn zu tun6213? Gehasi1522 sprach559: Ach61, sie hat keinen Sohn1121, und ihr Mann376 ist alt2204.

15 And he said,559 Call7121 her. And when he had called7121 her, she stood5975 in the door.6607

15 Er sprach559: Rufe ihr! Und da er ihr rief7121, trat5975 sie7121 in die Tür6607.

16 And he said,559 About this2088 season,4150 according to the time6256 of life,2416 you shall embrace2263 a son.1121 And she said,559 No,408 my lord,113 you man376 of God,430 do not lie3576 to your handmaid.8198

16 Und er2416 sprach559: Um diese Zeit4150 über ein Jahr6256 sollst du einen Sohn1121 herzen2263. Sie sprach559: Ach nicht, mein Herr113, du Mann376 Gottes430, lüge3576 deiner Magd8198 nicht!

17 And the woman802 conceived,2029 and bore3205 a son1121 at that season4150 that Elisha477 had said1696 to her, according to the time6256 of life.2416
|
17 Und die Frau ward schwanger2029 und gebar3205 einen Sohn1121 um dieselbe Zeit4150 über ein Jahr6256, wie ihr802 Elisa477 geredet hatte1696.

|
18 And when the child3206 was grown,1431 it fell1961 on a day,3117 that he went3318 out to his father1 to the reapers.7114
|
18 Da aber das Kind3206 groß ward3117, begab sich‘s, daß es hinaus zu1431 seinem Vater1 zu den Schnittern7114 ging3318.

19 And he said559 to his father,1 My head,7218 my head.7218 And he said559 to a lad,5288 Carry5375 him to his mother.517
|
19 Und sprach559 zu seinem Vater1: O mein Haupt7218, mein Haupt7218! Er sprach559 zu seinem Knaben5288: Bringe5375 ihn zu seiner Mutter517!

|
20 And when he had taken5375 him, and brought935 him to his mother,517 he sat3427 on5921 her knees1290 till5704 noon,6672 and then died.4191
|
20 Und er nahm ihn und brachte935 ihn hinein zu seiner Mutter517; und sie3427 setzte ihn auf5375 ihren Schoß1290 bis an den Mittag6672; da starb4191 er.
|
|
21 And she went5927 up, and laid7901 him on5921 the bed4296 of the man376 of God,430 and shut5462 the door on him, and went3318 out.
|
21 Und sie ging5927 hinauf und legte7901 ihn aufs Bett4296 des Mannes376 Gottes430, schloß zu5462 und ging3318 hinaus.
|
|
22 And she called7121 to her husband,376 and said,559 Send7971 me, I pray4994 you, one259 of the young5288 men, and one259 of the asses,860 that I may run7323 to the man376 of God,430 and come7725 again.7725
|
22 Und rief7121 ihrem Mann376 und sprach559: Sende7971 mir der Knaben5288 einen259 und eine259 Eselin860; ich will7323 zu dem Mann376 Gottes430 und wiederkommen7725.
|
|
23 And he said,559 Why4069 will you go1980 to him to day?3117 it is neither3808 new2320 moon,2320 nor3808 sabbath.7676 And she said,559 It shall be well.7965
|
23 Er sprach559: Warum willst1980 du zu ihm? Ist doch heute3117 nicht Neumond2320 noch Sabbat7676. Sie sprach559: Es ist gut7965.

24 Then she saddled2280 an ass,860 and said559 to her servant,5288 Drive,5090 and go3212 forward; slack6113 not your riding7392 for me, except3588 518 I bid559 you.
|
24 Und sie sattelte2280 die Eselin860 und sprach559 zum Knaben5288: Treibe5090 fort3212 und säume6113 mich nicht mit dem Reiten7392, wie ich dir sage559.

|
25 So she went3212 and came935 to the man376 of God430 to mount2022 Carmel.3760 And it came1961 to pass, when the man376 of God430 saw7200 her afar5048 off, that he said559 to Gehazi1522 his servant,5288 Behold,2009 yonder is that Shunammite:7767

25 Also zog3212 sie hin und kam935 zu dem Mann376 Gottes430 auf den Berg2022 Karmel3760. Als aber der Mann376 Gottes430 sie gegen ihm sah7200, sprach559 er zu seinem Knaben5288 Gehasi1522: Siehe, die Sunamitin7767 ist da1975.

26 Run7323 now,6258 I pray4994 you, to meet7125 her, and say559 to her, Is it well7965 with you? is it well7965 with your husband?376 is it well7965 with the child?3206 And she answered,559 It is well:7965

26 So lauf7323 ihr nun entgegen7125 und frage sie559, ob‘s ihr und ihrem Mann376 und Sohn3206 wohlgehe? Sie sprach559: Wohl7965.

27 And when she came935 to the man376 of God430 to the hill,2022 she caught2388 him by the feet:7272 but Gehazi1522 came5066 near5066 to thrust1920 her away. And the man376 of God430 said,559 Let her alone;7503 for her soul5315 is vexed4843 within her: and the LORD3068 has hid5956 it from me, and has not told5046 me.

27 Da sie2388 aber zu dem Mann376 Gottes430 auf den Berg2022 kam935, hielt sie ihn bei seinen Füßen7272; Gehasi1522 aber trat5066 herzu, daß er1920 sie abstieße. Aber der Mann376 Gottes430 sprach559: Laß7503 sie, denn ihre See LE5315 ist betrübt4843; und der HErr3068 hat mir‘s5046 verborgen5956 und nicht angezeiget.

28 Then she said,559 Did I desire7592 a son1121 of my lord?113 did I not say,559 Do not deceive7952 me?

28 Sie sprach559: Wann habe ich einen Sohn1121 gebeten von meinem Herrn113? Sagte559 ich nicht, du7592 solltest mich nicht täuschen7952?
|
|
29 Then he said559 to Gehazi,1522 Gird2296 up your loins,4975 and take3947 my staff4938 in your hand,3027 and go3212 your way: if3588 you meet4672 any man,376 salute1288 him not; and if3588 any376 salute1288 you, answer6030 him not again: and lay7760 my staff4938 on the face6440 of the child.5288

29 Er376 sprach559 zu Gehasi1522: Gürte2296 deine Lenden und376 nimm3947 meinen Stab4938 in deine Hand3027 und gehe3212 hin (so dir jemand begegnet4672, so grüße1288 ihn nicht, und grüßet dich1288 jemand, so danke6030 ihm nicht) und lege7760 meinen Stab4938 auf6440 des Knaben5288 Antlitz.

30 And the mother517 of the child5288 said,559 As the LORD3068 lives,2416 and as your soul5315 lives,2416 I will not leave5800 you. And he arose,6965 and followed3112 310 her.

30 Die Mutter517 aber des Knaben5288 sprach559: So wahr der HErr3068 lebet und deine See LE5315, ich lasse nicht von dir. Da machte er2416 sich auf6965 und ging3212 ihr5800 nach310.

|
31 And Gehazi1522 passed5674 on before6440 them, and laid7760 the staff4938 on the face6440 of the child;5288 but there was neither369 voice,6963 nor369 hearing.7182 Why he went7725 again7725 to meet7125 him, and told5046 him, saying,559 The child5288 is not awaked.6974

31 Gehasi1522 aber ging5674 vor6440 ihnen6440 hin und legte7760 den Stab4938 dem Knaben5288 aufs Antlitz; da war aber keine Stimme6963 noch Fühlen7182. Und er ging wiederum7725 ihm entgegen7125 und zeigte ihm an5046 und sprach559: Der Knabe5288 ist nicht aufgewacht6974.

32 And when Elisha477 was come935 into the house,1004 behold,2009 the child5288 was dead,4191 and laid7901 on his bed.4296

32 Und da Elisa477 ins Haus1004 kam935, siehe, da lag7901 der Knabe5288 tot4191 auf seinem Bette4296.
|
|
33 He went935 in therefore, and shut5462 the door1817 on them two,8147 and prayed6419 to the LORD.3068
|
33 Und er ging935 hinein und schloß die Tür1817 zu5462 für sie beide8147 und betete6419 zu dem HErrn3068.
|
|
34 And he went5927 up, and lay7901 on the child,3206 and put7760 his mouth6310 on his mouth,6310 and his eyes5869 on his eyes,5869 and his hands3709 on his hands:3709 and stretched1457 himself on the child; and the flesh1320 of the child3206 waxed warm.2552
|
34 Und1320 stieg hinauf und legte7760 sich7901 auf5927 das Kind3206 und legte seinen Mund6310 auf des Kindes3206 Mund6310 und seine Augen5869 auf seine Augen5869 und seine Hände3709 auf seine Hände3709; und breitete sich1457 also über ihn, daß des Kindes Leib warm ward2552.

35 Then he returned,7725 and walked3212 in the house1004 to and fro;259 2008 and went5927 up, and stretched1457 himself on him: and the child5288 sneezed2237 seven7651 times,6471 and the child5288 opened6491 his eyes.5869

35 Er aber stund wieder7725 auf5927 und7651 ging3212 im Hause1004 einmal6471 hieher und daher; und stieg hinauf und breitete sich über ihn1457. Da schnaubte2237 der Knabe5288 siebenmal; danach tat6491 der Knabe5288 seine Augen5869 auf.

36 And he called7121 Gehazi,1522 and said,559 Call7121 this2063 Shunammite.7767 So he called7121 her. And when she was come935 in to him, he said,559 Take5375 up your son.1121
|
36 Und er rief7121 Gehasi1522 und sprach559: Rufe der Sunamitin7767. Und da er ihr rief7121, kam935 sie7121 hinein zu ihm. Er sprach559: Da nimm5375 hin deinen Sohn1121!
|
|
37 Then she went935 in, and fell5307 at5921 his feet,7272 and bowed7812 herself to the ground,776 and took5375 up her son,1121 and went3318 out.

37 Da kam sie und fiel5307 zu seinen Füßen7272 und betete7812 an5375 zur Erde776; und nahm ihren Sohn1121 und ging935 hinaus3318.
|
|
38 And Elisha477 came7725 again7725 to Gilgal:1537 and there was a dearth7458 in the land;776 and the sons1121 of the prophets5030 were sitting3427 before6440 him: and he said559 to his servant,5288 Set8239 on the great1419 pot,5518 and seethe1310 pottage5138 for the sons1121 of the prophets.5030

38 Da aber Elisa477 wieder7725 gen Gilgal1537 kam, ward Teurung im Lande776, und die3427 Kinder1121 der Propheten5030 wohneten vor6440 ihm. Und er sprach559 zu seinem Knaben5288: Setze8239 zu einen großen1419 Topf5518 und koche1310 ein Gemüse5138 für die Kinder1121 der Propheten5030.

39 And one259 went3318 out into413 the field7704 to gather3950 herbs,219 and found4672 a wild7704 vine,1612 and gathered3950 thereof wild7704 gourds6498 his lap899 full,4393 and came935 and shred6398 them into413 the pot5518 of pottage:5138 for they knew3045 them not.

39 Da ging3318 einer259 aufs Feld7704, daß er Kraut219 läse3950, und fand4672 wilde Ranken1612, und las3950 davon Koloquinten6498, sein Kleid899 voll4393; und da er kam935, schnitt6398 er‘s in den Topf5518 zum Gemüse5138, denn sie7704 kannten3045 es nicht.

40 So they poured3332 out for the men582 to eat.398 And it came1961 to pass, as they were eating398 of the pottage,5138 that they cried6817 out, and said,559 O you man376 of God,430 there is death4194 in the pot.5518 And they could3201 not eat398 thereof.

40 Und da sie es ausschütteten3332 für die Männer582 zu essen398, und sie von dem Gemüse5138 aßen398, schrieen6817 sie und sprachen559: O Mann376 Gottes430, der Tod4194 im Topf5518! Denn sie konnten‘s3201 nicht essen398.

41 But he said,559 Then bring3947 meal.7058 And he cast7993 it into413 the pot;5518 and he said,559 Pour3332 out for the people,5971 that they may eat.398 And there was no3808 harm1697 7451 in the pot.5518
|
41 Er7993 aber sprach559: Bringet Mehl7058 her! Und er tat‘s in den Topf5518 und sprach559: Schütte3332 es dem Volk5971 vor, daß sie3947 essen398. Da war nichts Böses7451 in dem Topf5518.
|
|
42 And there came935 a man376 from Baalshalisha,1190 and brought935 the man376 of God430 bread3899 of the first fruits,1061 twenty6242 loaves3899 of barley,8184 and full ears3759 of corn3759 in the husk6861 thereof. And he said,559 Give5414 to the people,5971 that they may eat.398

42 Es kam935 aber ein Mann376 von Baal-Salisa1190 und brachte935 dem398 Mann376 Gottes430 Erstlingsbrot1061, nämlich zwanzig6242 Brote3899, und neu Getreide3759 in seinem Kleid6861. Er aber sprach559: Gib‘s5414 dem Volk5971, daß sie essen3899!

43 And his servitor8334 said,559 What,4100 should I set5414 this2088 before6440 an hundred3967 men?376 He said559 again, Give5414 the people,5971 that they may eat:398 for thus3541 said559 the LORD,3068 They shall eat,398 and shall leave3498 thereof.

43 Sein3498 Diener8334 sprach559: Was soll ich hundert3967 Mann376 an dem geben5414? Er sprach559: Gib5414 dem Volk5971, daß sie6440 essen398! Denn so spricht der HErr3068: Man559 wird essen398, und wird überbleiben.

44 So he set5414 it before6440 them, and they did eat,398 and left3498 thereof, according to the word1697 of the LORD.3068

44 Und er legte5414 es ihnen vor6440, daß sie aßen398; und blieb3498 noch über nach dem Wort1697 des HErrn3068.
